Main route. Cars from Copart/IAAI auctions are delivered to East Coast ports (New York, Baltimore, Savannah) or Gulf Coast (Houston, Jacksonville). Container ocean freight to Klaipeda (Lithuania) takes 30-40 days. Then by car carrier through Poland to Lviv (2-3 days), Kyiv (3-5 days), or other Ukrainian cities.
Alternative route via Constanta port (Romania). Shorter ocean transit — 17-25 days from the East Coast. Convenient for delivery to Odesa (1 day), Kyiv (1-2 days), and Dnipro (1-2 days). Less developed infrastructure compared to Klaipeda, but faster overall timeline.
Cars from Encar and Korean auctions ship from Incheon or Busan ports. Container ocean transit to Klaipeda takes 40-50 days. Then standard land delivery to Ukraine. Reliable and proven route for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis.
Fastest option. Cars from Germany, Poland, Lithuania delivered by car carrier or tow truck. EUR.1 certificate allows skipping the 10% duty. Border customs clearance takes 1-3 days.
Lviv — main hub for cars arriving from Klaipeda. Most companies (W8 Shipping, ATL, Lube Avto) have offices and warehouses here. From Klaipeda — 1-2 days.
